What is changing with the Indiana Football season ticket process?
Ticket prices will now be calculated using a process in which fans pay a straightforward, per-seat total price for each individual seat that includes the season ticket cost, the required per-seat license, and the ticket fee. The per-seat total is the same, regardless of the number of Football tickets purchased. Total Season Ticket Price + Per-Seat License + Ticket Fee = Total Cost Per Seat
What is a Per-Seat License (PSL)?
A per-seat license (PSL) is an annual fee paid by a fan to secure the right to purchase season tickets for a specific seat in a stadium.
Why does Indiana Athletics have a per-seat license added to the cost of season tickets?
The PSL is not only part of our efforts to drive revenue in the rapidly-changing world of intercollegiate athletics, but also is consistent with what a large majority of Big Ten (and other Power-4 conference) institutions utilize for their football tickets.
Is my PSL a tax-deductible donation?
The PSL is NOT a tax-deductible donation. It is an annual fee paid by a fan to secure the right to purchase season tickets for a specific seat in a stadium. Priority Points will not be earned by payment of PSL fees.
How and when do I pay for my PSL costs?
PSL's will be included on ticket purchase applications and can be paid in full or split into payments based on the offered payment plan. Tickets located in premium areas will not pay a PSL on top of the premium seat price.
How does the seat selection process work?
IU will not be conducting a full stadium reseat for the 2026 football season. Returning ticket holders will have the option to maintain the same seats as 2025. Any additional or new tickets will be selected based on availability and in order of Priority Points. The seat selection process gives season ticket holders the opportunity to select seating based on Priority Points accumulated through philanthropic donations, consecutive years being a Varsity Club donor, and season ticket holder loyalty. Each individual season ticket holder will be able to choose their newly purchased seats based on their cumulative Priority Point total as of March 31, 2026 in an available location that best aligns with what they are interested in (price point, location, etc.).
The seat selection process is an interactive, online appointment that allows season ticket holders to choose from an interactive 3D venue map that displays virtual views from the seat.
How can I increase my Priority Point total prior to a seat selection?
In addition to purchasing season tickets, any additional philanthropic athletic gifts, made by March 31, 2026 will increase your priority point ranking. Sign in to your IU Athletics account to view your current point total or make an additional donation to enhance your Varsity Club priority point ranking. Donors and season ticket holders will receive an updated Priority Point statement in April, prior to the start of the seat selection process in May.
What if I want to sit with a specific group of people?
Ticket holders who wish to sit together must request, in advance, to have their seat selection appointment times joined with other ticket holders. A group delegate must be assigned to select all tickets on behalf of the group. The group’s appointment time will be assigned based on an average of the group members' point totals.
What if I need ADA seating?
ADA seating is available within multiple sections of Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium. Contact the IU Ticket Office at iuticket@iu.edu for more detailed information.
How is my season parking pass location determined?
Parking passes are assigned based on Varsity Club membership status and Priority Points. Varsity Club members at the Hoosier Hundred and above levels qualify for a reserved parking pass based on availability within the reserved lots. All other parking passes are assigned based on Priority Points. Purchasers will be asked to provide three different lot preferences during the order process. More information and maps of IU Athletics parking options can be found HERE.
Are there any ticket limits for how many season tickets I can purchase?
Any new / additional ticket orders for 2026 will adhere to a policy based on Varsity Club membership level.
Hoosier Fan thru Hoosier Athlete = maximum 8 tickets
Hoosier Scholar = maximum 10 tickets
Hoosier Champion = maximum 12 tickets
Pre-existing season ticket order quantities will not be affected by this policy so long as the tickets are renewed.
